Hi
I know i'm probably being impatient but last Thursday (5th Jan) i signed up to Scottishpower online energy saver 17 via topcashback for 42 pounds cashback. Now the cashback has been tracked in topcashback but as of yet scottishpower have no record of my application nor have i received any confirmation email from them. Any idea how long it takes for Scottishpower to acknowledge the application?
Cheers

Could it have gone into junk/spam?0

If it's done as a click through from TCB, it should certainly be on SP's systems by now, the same as if you've gone direct. Call them and ask.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I started my switch on the 1st December through energy helpline..
Got two emails from them the day after...
First contact from Scottish Power was my agreement through the post dated 5th December, so I would have probably got it the 8th or 9th December.
First email I had from Scottish Power was on the 6th January updating me on progress...
Due to change 16th January...
Only 1 more week with EDF :j:j:j0 -
Thanks, definitely not in my spam folder. Based on rockin plumber's experience, i think it takes a week or so for them to acknowledge it so i'll give them till the end of the week.0

This is nothing new, you have serious computer issues on your websites. I got exactly the same problem last year the application went totally missing and could never be found again. It didn't help that the scottish power staff refused to admit that the theenergypeople.com site belongs to you, they insisted it was some other companies site.
I was told to reapply, by which time the better deal had gone and I ended up on a lesser tarrif.0 -

You can still apply through topcashback, but just check with SP that they have got it/make sure you get the email from them confirming it.
It works the second time for me, and I had two cashbacks tracking for a while, the faulty one just disappeared in a puff of smoke after a while0 -
Beware of the Cashback from Scottish Power
I have been a customer since 16/03/2012. They refused my cashback on the reason the order was cancelled or returned.
I followed everything as instructed, deleting cookies etc
Is there a way to cancel the contract without paying cancellation fee
Thanks0
