Should I keep switching bank accounts?

Any reason why I can't keep switching bank accounts every few years?
In this way I get the offers available to new customers only (in my case, this is usually 12 months interest-free overdraft).
(I employ a similar tactic for my mobile phone contract and always have done)
However, do I risk being labelled as an awkward/fickle customer?
And am I likely to regret this (beneficial in the short term) tactic a few years down the line (e.g. when I'm applying for a mortgage)?
Any thoughts/opinions appreciated!
