Hello Sligo
welcome back!
and well done on getting ur grant forms done! I know how hard it is to get these things done and how good it feels to get them finished too
Suzi - that's one big list yoyo are working on!!!! Good luck with itlol that should say you not yoyo! Am on my phone and it has a mind of its own
I finally got the payment off to unison I have been meaning to do for dear knows how long. If all goes to plan I will be able to get some legal advice about how work treated me - I've decided I need to follow up on that if I can!
I don't have much I want to work on right now - started knitting a shawl for mum so need to get that finished!
Apart from that I'm just taking it easy still - head all over the place so small steps for me atm!Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Hi all positive steppers
I'm not making a list for this week because it's xmas
Also, I haven't actually got through last week's list yet; plenty of reasons but basically I've just been too lazy :rotfl:
Merry christmas everyone :xmastree:Positive steps every day:j0 -
Oooh what a great thread! Hope you don't mind me jumping in!
As I'm back at work next Wednesday I'd like to get as organised as possible for the new year as I have alot planned for 2013. I want to be debt free, I need to lose 2 stone and get fit, I want to spruce up the house and garden, then I want to start planning my wedding!
My positive steps for this week are:
1. Declutter the house and get the kids to sort out their new toys and put them in their rooms instead of the living room.
2. Start to strip the small back bedroom.
3. Clean, clean, clean! Anything and everything. PARTLY DONE
4. Read Secretarial and PA book (want to start making more of an effort at work) PARTLY DONE
5. Read some of my new book that I got for christmasDONE
6. Have as much sleep as possible before work next week DONE
7. Have as much spare time to myself for a nice bubble bath DONE
8. Organise all debts, bills and complete a SOA
9. Get all washing done before going back to work DONE
10. Book bulky rubbish to come and pick up all the big items I'm throwing out.
Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas. And all the best for new year

Do 30 mins exercise on Wii

Sort box of stuff I brought back with me

I got a higher bill than normal from sky on 21st December. When I rang up to ask why they said I had changed my direct debit date to the 21st instead of the 18th and so they needed to add the 4 days on (4 days which cost me an extra 10 pounds  and 18th to the 21st is only 3 days) Yet when they looked through the notes to see when I rang up to change the date and why, there were no notes there so I obviously hadn't.Make extra money January 2013: £4.40 / £30

hmmmm they will be getting a call from me saying right cancel everything - i was supposed to be on a discounted amount for the next 6 months because i phoned to reduce my subscriptions so they offered me a discount instead AND i have had no internet connection for about a month as well - taking the you know what they are!! I know they increased their charges recently but adding £10 for 3 days is really a bit much as well isn't it? Hope you get it sorted!
At least i seem to have some internet access today - am trying the cable out and well i'm here so it is working (atm anyway :rotfl:) however i have the router sitting on the floor, an extension cable all the way up the hall and under the kitchen door, and the power cables all over the place too so it looks like spaghetti junction in here
Apart from checking the internet I did manage to clean my bathrooms today so i feel like i have done something positive even though i didn't have that on my listI may even try to sort some things for ebaying shortly though the chances of listing anything today are pretty slim i have to say :rotfl::rotfl: sure will give me something to start the year with
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet i have started a new thread for 2013I will see if i can post a link to it now i'm not trying to do that on my phone
