I'm here! Better late than never!

TM6 - so glad to hear yesterday went well for you!

I was "MIA" yesterday cos I was just wallowing in just about everything. Today has been a bit better and I think I'm putting too much on my steps - especially the ones for home in the evening. i think I'd be better with one evening step that I actually did than 5 I don't and beat myself up about.

I have Bookclub this evening and I haven't actually finished the book but I'm going anyway cos I love meeting up with the Book Ladies. So I'm not planning any big steps for this evening apart from Bookclub!!

    Today I have already:

    - Checked the bank :D
    - done polls & cashback site :D
    - tidied desk & written work list :D
    - Went to new Aldi - opened today :D
    - Went to Insurance office for DH to pay his farm insurance :D
    - Did a work job I've been putting off :D

    Tonight I will:

    - empty washer and put in dryer (raining again! Boo!) :D
    - Go to Bookclub!:(

Hope Thursday has been good to all you Steppers out there! Long weekend coming up! :j

Thanks TM suggestions are always welcome :) xxxx

I'm not sure its a quantity issue as i don't feel overwhelmed by my list, i just find myself ignoring it :rotfl::rotfl: maybe its a things i should be doing rather than want to do issue! Not sure! lol I used to come back and check my list frequently throughout the day and mark off what i had done and pick a new item to work on but i haven't been doing that recently - i also feel like i'm not achieving much funny enough!

I did manage to do most of the things i wanted to yesterday. :D

You know something just popped into my head there - i think i am focussing too much on doing things for other people at the minute! I think i may need to try and regain a personalised focus! I just feel a bit all over the place and need to find my path again. hmmmmmm!

Bearing all that in mind then today i am going to try and:

look at my personal goals and bring things back to basics

Look at my personal calendar and add appointments and fairs etc

do some work on craft items

    check bank account

    Superpoints

    Swagbucks

    Look for old DLA form

    Sort ebay sales

List unsold perfumes on ebay again.

Fairyclicks - you are like me with my "dreaded" work list. I know I have to do them but I just keep putting them off until they sometimes become big chaotic messy problems. Maybe just one step per day that you are avoiding and I know I always feels so relieved when i get that one thing done!!

So glad you are back posting again!!

HI Guys :) Thanks for all the words of encouragement - i'm trying hard to pop in daily and get back into the habit of posting and stepping!! I know its a bit late to plan today LOL! so i will update on my previous steps!

Firstly though - well done TM on your work visit and on seeing your friend!!! You are really getting on soooooo well :D

Sligo - I would have to agree with the better to do one thing rather than beat yourself up about 5 things comment!!

Xans Mum - Great to hear that Xan went back to nursery today :)

PPB - well done on getting your 3004 words done :) hope you gave yourself a treat after that!!!

Princess - lovely to see you posting again too :D

    Now for my progress then......

I have tried to take a step back from doing things for other people and look at my own things again and it did seem to help me a bit. :)

I haven't managed to do my calendar update yet but thats something i can do very shortly - i think i have been putting it off because i have booked in craft fairs and a business course and i'm rather scared to even think about them. I have completely got out of the way of doing my dairy check first thing in the morning and this is adding to my feelings of being all over the place so thats a step item for tomorrow :)

Craft items - hehehehe this is something i have been doing. In the past few days i have:
    1. knitted ruffle scarf for order
    2. started making a big stuffed dog
    3. started making 4 jubilee bracelets
    4. started making a large bag
    5. finished sewing the button design on denim bag

Check bank account - done :) pity there was no money in there :( I have gone overdrawn for the first time since i got to grips with my debts :( another sign that i have lost control of things!

Superpoints - done yesterday and claimed $10 :) still to do for today!

Swaggers - not done anything on there yet - will aim for +25 this evening

DLA form - found my old one and made a start on completing new one :)

Ebay sales - not done :( have no idea where the sold items are at the minute :(

List unsold Perfumes - not done yet but have put them all into a box ready to just relist them (but needed to know what i have left)

So thats 5 steps off my list :):):):):)

    I also:

    folded up washing :)
put another wash on and hung it out :)
Did a tidy in bedroom :)
Threw out lots of old paperwork :)

Soooooooo lots done really!! and a few wee things to do this evening as well!

Whew!!! oh and i should give myself a :D for posting my update i think as well!

    Hi Steppers One & All

Disaster of an evening yesterday. I didn't get to Bookclub and so disappointed but it was my own fault. Out helping DH moving cows and I let them get past me and they took off down the road tails up and galloping. Managed to get them back but they were like lunatics and broke fences and trampled through wire. Boy was I in the bad books!!

Anyway I'm stepping quite well today and looking forward to a long weekend.

    Today I have already;

    - checked bank, paid bills & put money into saving pots :D
    - done polls & cashback site :D
    - been to atm for shopping money :D
    - met friend for coffee at lunchtime :D

This evening I will be doing:
    - go to petshop for dog food :D
    - do shopping :D
    - make some muffins :(
    - put on a load of washing :D
    - get ready for shopping trip with my mum & 2 DDs tomorrow! :D

Wishing you all a wonderful Jubilee weekend and hope the sun shines on you :j
