  • Hmm, I think I'm getting confused. I don't always see the Nectar logo appear on the actual search results page, if that's what you mean? But my searches always count! Oh well, as long as it's working!

    Is it worth it?

50 Nectar points are worth 25p, so you can earn a maximum of £3 per year.
  • Hi just installed this toolbar and if you search for something (i just typed ireland into the box) then click on the next page it adds to your total so i searched ireland and am now on page 4 so i got an extra 3 searches (1.5 points if you like) in around 3 secs!!

If you do that too much and too quickly they're figure out what you're doing and not give you the Nectar points. The points total on the search bar will go up, but when it comes to the '28 days to add the points' - during which they check your searches are valid, as mentioned above - this type of searching will instantly get flagged up as just trying to get the points and not proper searching. You're better off spacing it out. Of course, the odd search like this every now and then is fine as what you're looking for won't always be on page one... but it's better to at least wait 15 seconds before clicking 'next' so it looks more natural.

Yeah it's not much but if you're searching anyway, it's £3 a year you wouldn't otherwise have!
