What shows up on the Land Registry Searches

I wonder if someone could just clarify for me - my next door neighbour has applied for a massive whopping extension which is possibly going to be an eyesore from our garden and we are planning on putting the house on the market in about the next 8 - 9 weeks. We are obviously going to object to drag it out but if we manage to sell before it is granted does it still show up on the searches carried out by the solicitors if it is just applied for?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

I would have thought its only disclosed when its done and not before. If you have any concerns contact the LR Direct: http://www.landreg.gov.uk/legislation/0

It will not show up on a Land Registry search.
It will show up I think on a search of the Local Council planning applications...0 -
At what point do you need to declare any disputes when selling a house? I can't remember if is to the EA or when completing forms for the solicitor?
Would something like this qualify as a dispute? If a formal objection is raised for instance.0 -

Correct - it will show up on the local council planning applications. Also, as the vendor, you have to disclose (in papers that you sign, give to your solicitor who then passes them on to the buyer's solicitor) whether you are aware of any local planning applications that might affect your property....ie in the vicinity.0 -
being an "eyesore" is not a planning ground for an acceptable objection. if you are going to object, you will need more than that ....
if you are moving, why would you want to waste your time in objecting anyway ?0
