  • Don't know if this will help, but when I ordered my dress from a wedding dress shop (I'm 5ft 8), they ordered "extra length" on the skirt which was about an additional 6 inches on the bottom! This was then adjusted by the dressmaker when I had my shoes. I think it added £70 to the price of the dress for the length (plus dressmaker costs).

I'm 5'9" and I ordered a dress from BHS which fitted really well length wise (unfortunately not bust wise!)
The dress was under £300 and it's quite good as they often have 20% off sales online for a bit of extra MSE..
  • If you are not planning on wearing a large heel, a normal length dress may do depending on the style etc - I'm 5'10" and wearing a standard length Alfred Angelo, and my shoes have 1" heels.

Ill be wearing flat ballerina type shoes not good with heels!!
  • I'd imagine you'd prob be able to find a standard length dress that will fit then, but it will prob depend on the style of the dress. I tried some on that I'd have needed to order extra length, otherwise were fine with flats/small heel.
