Hi,
I am looking for an old loan we had which cost a lot to complete 2 years ago, we are pensioners and beleive we may have payed ppi on the loans we had.
However, we have no records/paperwork.
We were advised to go to a credit score company to get our history, however seeing some hooror stories online about the so called 30 days free trial, and the difficulty cancelling, we were wondering is there any other way of finding our loan/credit history over the past 5/6 years.
Thank you

Asking the lender would be the easiest way.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Problem is we are not sure who the lender is, we think its one of the various Abbey outlets ie National etc, but not 100%.
This is the reason why we would like a history to look at what has happened over the past few years/

Hi Stattovic, you could order a copy of your credit report by post if you're worried about online/ free trials etc, this should help you. It costs £2
