I have 6.9% on purchases on an amex blue, but they dont seem to advertise the cards anymore even though you can still sign up for one as I did a few months ago.0

hi my inital rate was 15.9 with o% on bt for 12 moths, then about a year later the apr went up to 27.9!!!!!( was sent a letter explaining this 30 days notice etc)
so i phoned up cleared the balance straight away as i wasnt happy wth that apr, and said i want to clse the account, and they said they would lower my purchase , bt and cas all to 7.9% apr ad i had a contract rate letter to confirm this, so im happy!!
also get offers when i phone up to do bt!!:p0
