Which supermarket to choose for best discount on massive circa £600 food shop?

On mysupermarket you can see your shopping split into two baskets I think. But the best thing to do is order the bulk of the shopping via Asda which is mostly cheaper.
Marks stores also have leaflets in stores, £5 off when you spend £25 so it might be worth looking out for those.
Also have you thought about what everyone is likely to drink - not just the juice, cordials and squashes but also wines, beers and spirits as well?
My other worry is getting all of this £600 worth into the back of a car - it would have to be a very big estate or a van. Also keeping all the chilled stuff cold on the journey down. And also when thye do get down there getting it all out of the car and carried across the drawbrdige, sounds a bit hairy to me

I think we're all going to bring some drinks with us (mostly wine I would think).
I thought it would be hard to get it all in the car too, but they seem not to be worried about this, it's possible that my OH's bro will be bringing some of the food in his car too and they both have big estate cars. Also they only live in devon so not too far to come, and we should (all 15 of us) be there to help carry stuff in across the drawbridge and down a spiral staircase too! Should be an adventure!Started Comping 25th September 2013.
