    Happy birthday rach!

Nothing done today apart from refilling the recycling bin, washing the dyson and it's filters and taking delivery of the new wardrobe. Ex-OH is over on Monday to finish some wiring, and will put up a couple of shelves and help me construct the wardrobe.

Trying to keep on top of work. Just about managing at the moment, but appear to have writers block on one particular topic, which needs to be ready for Friday!

Well, I got the list done today and also mopped the bathroom floors and cleared my clothes ironing pile with 2x HHI this afternoon.
Just got to do sandwiches for tomorrow and prepare some things to list on ebay tomorrow.
    V. kind MIL gave me a pile of magazines today (Hello, Good Housekeeping etc) so when jobs are done I'm settling down with 1/2 a glass of red for a good read!

WendyWitch - what an awful time you've had. I hope your car can be fixed cheaply and that the email arrives soon.

ScarletRaven - hope your arm and head feel better soon. I slipped down the stairs 13 months ago and did serious damage.

DH has done the kitchen today when I was at work. It was lovely to come in and find it lovely and clean. He'd nipped out to get some lunch with DS2 and I had a lovely bowl of hot soup waiting for me. He's taking DS2 to football training so I will descale the kettle.

My contribution to flying has been 3 x HHI - still loads to go sadly. I picked up all the clothes from DS1 and DS2's bedrooms so I have approximately 6 loads of washing to process. DS2 is at football in dirty kit - he was mortified it hadn't been washed. DH told him it wasn't my responsibility to chase him for dirty kit. Hopefully the lesson has been learned.
  • Well I've done lots better than I thought I would today, considering I got home after 6pm in a foul mood, with a migraine.
Thanks for keeping me so motivated.

Have landed after a couple of hours of flying. Completed the list including extras with the exception of the descaling as I have run out of vinegar ( but found five bottles of soy sauce?!).

Still in a panic about bedroom so did an extra twenty minutes upstairs. Now a bit if quiet time before bed. Hopefully arms won't hurt in the morning!!!

That's all three levels (just about) three nights in a row now. I hope it gets easier as it is becoming very time consuming!! My evenings have disappeared!

Thank you, I hope you've fully recovered from your fall too, it's scary when it happens!

Quite a productive day after an aweful start.
Woke up to discover that part of garden side wall was all over the pavement. Bricks and mortar everywhere. DD and I moving all the bricks and clearing pavement in the rain till my good neighbour came over to help. He's convinced that wall was 'helped down' - presumably by vandals in the night. Particularly as weather last night was quite calm, whereas gale force a few nights ago. Neighbour organised brickie he knows to come and rebuild wall at weekend.

Exhausted after humping bricks all morning, decided to have an hour feet up. Then feeling better in the afternoon and got stuck in to kitchen. It's looking so much better now that makes me feel I've really got somewhere today.
