Hello
not sure if this is right forum.
I am filling in my tax return ( I know, v late!). I am employed and self-employed.
In the employed bit, when it asks for " Pay from this employment", does it mean gross pay or taxable pay?
I seem to have managed to fill everything else in.
Thanks so much for any help!

I seem to remember it asks for both Gross and Tax Paid amounts, and mentions the boxes on the P60: the Notes/Help should explain thisWho having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Thanks. I seem to have two P60s from the year before which was somewhat confusing me!0

Hello there
You need to enter the "taxable pay" figure from your P60 into your self assessment return. As mentioned above, you will also need the "tax paid" figure.0 -
Did you have two part time jobs, or are the P60s identical? I got sent two the same one year - it was an accident. You need to declare gross (untaxed) income from each PAYE job separately.
HMRC want to know exactly how much your PAYE income was for each job from April 6th to April 5th, and how much tax you have paid. P60s and P45s are the best source of this information.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
