I don't think it will , unless someone knows different .

Doh! Of course it wouldn't ... the only way Mr T can help reduce a £40 spend even more after the £5 MOC has been used ... is if some DTD items make up the shop.

Sorry if already mentioned. I was in B00tle merto earlier. I noticed a SA take some family sized bars of chocolate to the self scanner . She scanned the chocolate them hid them behind some cereals.

Waited for her to walk away then scanned the bars myself. They were bars of Galaxy Bubbles 100g B/C 439954 BBD 22/04/2012
Scanned at 50p .Went straight over to the SS tills with them.....bet she's still searching for her chocolate stash now :rotfl:

    Well done :D

If you bought 24 of these meals, the original price would be £42 but the multibuy would reduce them to £12, minus the £5 equals £7 for 24!

I don't think it works like that, your calculations are spot on but it comes up with a sub-total first then after taking the multibuys off it gives the total to pay- I would guess that would be the figure taken into account.:(

But - I hope I'm wrong! Someone really needs to try it and report back...;)
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Lol! Oh well, at least we've got ourselves a glitch at last! Well done, Wool and Carl. I may buy a few tomorrow if they are still glitching but I don't usually like ready meals.

I wondered whether its worth collecting some reasons why you buy high numbers of items when you know there's a DTD? Always useful to have a back story!

I got 8 of the AirWick candles and when they asked me why I had so many (although the correct answer is none of your beeswax!) I said they were going to be part of a table centrepiece at a wedding anniversary party! 8 tables = 8 candles!

wine needs less of an excuse! I've got 4 bottles of champagne in the past and told them we had 4 promotions at work and I was told to buy them by my boss!

I know some poeple feel a little nervous with DTDs so thought these might help?

I would say that im buying them for prizes and fundraising at school (Which is usually true anyway!) its always something to distract the SA with too, if they start to wonder about 1p items! (works in M&S and Clintons too, as I think some SA assume I have got a carboot stall, and they are always nice when they know its for a school!)

Infact Ive been meaning to say on this thread, a big thank you to everyone for tips and glitches and discounts. I worked out last night that Ive spent about £50 on stuff for the school PTA (little prizes, winegums, lindt eggs, wrap, tags, candles etc) for events this year from asda, Mr T sainsbobs, clintons and M&S, which at full price would have cost approx £900 !!! (maybe I will put 'sponsored by MSE on the flyers!:rotfl:)

carl why dont you start a thread on the grabbit board? you will get lots of thanks and credit then
its not the point of loads of thanks it was the point that at last i felt i was able to give something back other than confirming other peoples glitches, then when i come back and read it seemed wool got all the credit. I like this thread as it has a real community feel to it, where as the main board is a quick glory moment

The Weight Watchers meals aren't glitching - they're on offer until 13th Feb.
The £1.75 ones are on 4 for £4 and the £2.29 ones are on 3 for 2 cheapest product free.
    HTH

yes the £1.75 ones are meant to be 4 for £4 but it minuses off £5.00
    £1.75 * 4 = £7.00
    £7.00 - £5.00 = £2.00
didnt buy any of the 3 for 2 so cant say if theres a glitch there as well
