    Morning all
Just caught up with you all
Hmm unusual names - mine is unusual, and I'm ok with it but had I been a boy my mum wanted aeneaus - fortunately my dad did have a say in this and I was born a girl lol
For my daughter - she suggested trageeda to which my response was think you can get a cream for that!
My daughters both have names that can be shortened if they want so a 'grown up' name and a business name so to speak. I do wonder about all the wacky names that some kids have and what they will grown up to be - I.e will we have a prime minister or high court judge with the Christian name of princess or Chardonnay ?
    Xxx

I chose my daughter's name so it would sound good with "Princess" in front of it - just in case ;). If she had been a boy her middle name would have been Firefiz. (I'll buy a bottle of wine in HC's virtual bar for anyone who knows where that name comes from!)

    Edit - it's pronounced "Fire-ee-feats", not "Fire-fizz" :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

    just about caught up!

Whoopsies rubbish in T's and Asda's today....typical when I'd taken my mum especially!
Persil capsules 10's are on offer in Asda at £2 and there is a £1 unilever coupon (facebook)... details on the coupon thread.
Got some more bits in Wilkinsons 75% off and some more comfort 21 washes - 23p with coupon if you have one (again please don't ask if you dont have one as they are no longer available to download!)

Lots of sels expiring today on phones ;)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Have we had a weigh in yetfrom the dieters on this thread ( and any one who can't post it themselves will have to do via his sister)

Mine starts this week. Going to my first SW meeting on Tuesday. About time, as the trousers I was going to wear to work tomorrow are really tight. :(

Just thinking out loud, if I did take the plunge and walk to Ts in the morning and I was lucky enough to find that Tool bag kit. I wonder if it would be too heavy to carry back. :p

Walk?! I hope there is at least a pavement

Woo hoo top of the leader board for today's quiz:eek::eek::eek:

Anyway..... Would anyone happen to know?????
I bought my son a *cough cough* Everything's Rosie doll for christmas, costing £25:eek:
Well he is just 13 months old and this singing doll needs 2 hands to make it work, I honestly would have thought that you could hug it to make it sing, but no, you have to clasp both her hands. Anyway, my son can't work it:(, And as it is out of the box and works fine with an adult doing it, I am not sure, but, would I be able to take it back? What reasons could I give???
    TIA
    P.s, sorry how rude:eek: Good evening all:D

I'd keep it. I am sure that he'll soon get the hang of it. Babies are far smarter than we give them credit for. I love "Everything's Rosie." I'm singing it now.

Right. I've trawled the Internet for ideas of how to use up my ingredients that are currently defrosting and will just go with instinct.

Gonna experiment on a seafood flan. Will use jalapeno hummus in with the egg/milk topping. If it works, will post pics.

I make cracking flans n quiches normally but never used one with prawns etc.
