I had to explain why I had been looking at manky old shoes as I signed into my account, DS on one side of me and DH at the other.
There on the screen a picture of Happys shoes saying you are watching lol

I've just been setting my OH up his own Ebay and paypal account. What a palaver...but I'm fed up with him buying things on Ebay for his bikes using my Ebay account!
Also he kept asking me why I was getting replies from Ebay about some "manky old shoes"!!!

  • So jealous of the Boot's stashes! I haven't tried as there isn't a self serve one near me and I don't dare to go to manned tills as I don't have much other stuff I need to buy to try and hide the discount. I even went in to Boots this afternoon to have a go but chicken out and walked back out! Such a chicken!:o

Is the Boots 75% definite for tomorrow?
I'm debating whether to stay on the lappie until midnight just in case it kicks in then too!
I wondered about filling my basket with 50% off goods and see if they drop to 75% when I go to checkout. What do you reckon?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I do remember that one, and another one I've just thought of. I don't know if it had a name but it went like this.

One person stood in the middle of the playground with the rest lined up against a wall. The one in the middle would say "Canny cross the water to see your Grannys daughter unless you're wearing the colour of ........" If you were wearing the colour you crossed safely, if not you had to run and try not to get caught or you'd be "out".

I seem to remember needing to flash my knickers on a regular bases because the school uniform was black and white so yellow knickers with pink polka dots were my favourites ;)

We played the same game but our rhyme was
'you can't cross the Red Sea without the colour......'
Ended up being banned along with British Bulldogs, Red Rover and a whole load of other running/chasing games because one child ended up with a broken arm and this was about the time parents were starting to worry about their little darlings getting hurt at school

Loving all the childhood posts. I remember Red Rover and the What Colour is she? Also, I remember "Letters in your name" and French skipping with knicker elastic!
