Made these this morning for me and the old lady i look after for breakfast - not as where near as good as yours im afraid Mislaid but im pleased with them, and must admit they taste pretty good, so thanks once again for the recipe. Would have posted earlier but have been tied up - not literally i hasten to add, my OH went away for the weekend to Benidorm and arrived back in UK this lunch time, then rang me to say he couldn't get in the house and his Dad (67) was lying on the floor in the front room, he could see him but couldn't get any answer!! told him to ring for an ambulance then he had to find a way to get in im at work 75 miles away, so i couldn't help him to get in quick, he got in ambulance arrived and it looks like he has been there since yesterday morning, he has been ringing me on and off all day from the hospital - suspected broken collar bone, broken leg and also damage to his head and one of his arms, still waiting for the results back from the x-rays, he has been at the hospital since approx 3pm with him and still no definite news on what is exactly wrong, i have never heard my OH sound so scared its really shook him up, i would love to go home and be with him but i don't have any cover this week for my job so stuck here till friday :mad::mad:

Oh I hope they work out the problem soon, and can treat him (((hugs))) to you both xx

    Boots glitch in simple terms:

Vitamins are on 3 for 2
Get a free 'shot' for each vitamin bought
Shots also on 3 for 2
Shots also on 5 for 4

I've posted a few times on the vitamin thread about the way the discounts work but long story short, buy in 3s as a minimum to get free shots plus an extra shot free. 6 works out better as the 5 for 4 discount kicks in so free shots plus £5.97 credit towards your vitamins and shopping. The ideal number is 15 as you get 5 x 3for2 plus 3 x 5for4. Best to get vitamins at 79p or 99p. Boots group the vitamins into 3s in descending price order and give you the cheapest of the 3 for free. Example:

    £6
    £5
    £4 - free
    £3
    £2
    £1 - free

Saving in Boots would be £5 whereas most other stores give you the 2 cheapest free which in this case would only save you £3. If anyone needs any more help just let me know as I'm currently at 60 of each so lots of different combinations of discounts & prices.
