    ... my mates little lad a packet of 50 water balloons on a clipstrip with a 20p SEL, the mate asked me to get 15 more for party bags, when I went through the tills I was genuinely amazed (so much so I almost said nooooooooooo they are 20p) to see them scan at 98p, a quick trip to CS and a £25 refund :j:
    Do you have a bar code for these please? I tried it tonight, don't usually like DTD but thought this was an easy one as no expired SEL, etc., just a straight overcharge. Weeeelllll, the clipstrip was on the very top shelf, so couldn't see (nevermind read) barcode, but the description was right and they did scan at 98p. Found out at CS that it was a different bar code, only got JTD.
    I phoned HO, but they said as the codes are different, not an overcharge sad0047.gif

    OMG I'm mortified for you. BTW the word scundered ..... I haven't heard that outside of Belfast. Are you from my neck of the woods or has the local slang migrated?

    no worries there...local slang has migrated to Lincolnshire but only because I have, the meerkats are a NI family....newry/lurgan via Belfast & Lisburn ;) It's the only word I can actually find in my vocabulary that accurately describes truly how embarrassed I was :o:o:o
    Baby meerkat...born 9.10am 31/1/12 - now a fully fledged monster meerkat.
    New Baby meerkat due 09/09/2013 :)

    so's 'e comin back or what then? :)

    Honestly don't know....Nothing resolved as far as I know
    My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • everyone's beaten me- a big fat NONE!!!

    I'm too easily confused. Even the pictures earlier of what I should be getting didnt make it any clearer to my blonde brain!

    QOC it does seem very confuzzling but it's quite easy actually. There are good explanations in the thread but basically for every 6 pots of vitamins and 6 shots you buy, a total discount of £5.97 comes off. You need to take the cost of the 4 most expensive pots of vitamins you buy away from the £5.97 and what you're left with is what will be deducted from your remaining shopping :)

    So if you're lucky enough to find the 79p vitamins and buy 6;

    4x79p =79 x 4 = £3.16

    £5.97 - £3.16 = £2.81 off your shopping :A

    They dont sell them in my boots anymore. I always used to buy them with my number 7 vouchers. Tried the wipes but daughter and I are both allergic to them. I ended up using them for wiping scuffs off the paintwork.

    I didn't get the no7 ones, I got the 'normal' ones in green box 2.39 a pair but as 6 sets of shots/vits give you 2.81 off they are free ;)

    wipes is a whole different story... My favourite ones are Loral Age Perfect(and I'm only 26!:p) they are lovely, thick and don't make my skin tight and itchy :T the Olay ones that were 80p in Asda I found horrible and most others are also not really good for me... my skin has a life on it's own though... it's combination but sensitive I'd say but it changes regulary so I have to use different products(cleansing gel/wipes/cream) every day/couple of days :eek:
