No issue with DTD today. Rang the Call Centre (in Wales I presume), told her the situation. Took my number and rang me back within ten minutes. Told me DTD is waiting for me.

Went into store sometime later, Manager practically accused me of Fraud! Told me she was pretty sure I knew the price before I paid. 'Who wouldn't notice a £12 overcharge & why would you need 5 packs of toasta bags when they're re-usable.'

I was shocked at such an insinuation :P Told her I had a big family, and they like toast. She walked off sulking but I got my DTD!

Tried three stores, no Eggs :(

And I hope when you got home you sent off an email complaining about the lack of customer service and manner of the manager - you dont have to put up with it - you are the customer. You could suggest customer service training for the manager!

    Pffffffft :p

What, its broken down completely now??? I'll have to revise my offer down to 40 then I'm afraid.

I bet its one of those unreliable, poorly put together German jobbies I'll bet! ;)

Excellent, I think I still have 9 vouchers which should work out quite nicely! :)

I've still got a few of the newborn ones which will sit tucked away ready to kick start the cycle again when the next baby fair appears! :D

Where did you get vouchers from??

Edited to say please & thankyou :)
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist

    What a con!

I don't usually look at the price of wipes as I have no need for them but as you mentioned the Huggies wipes I just looked on the A and T websites out of interest.

T are £2.59 but B1G2F but A only charge £1 anyway so hardly a tremendous bargain!

How unusual, T's have put the price up on something that's a multibuy!

Sorry, that sounds sarcastic and not meant to be - they always do this with bogofs and b1g2f offers.

I had a lovely day shopping with Toni but sadly I`m not in the right frame of mind to enjoy this thread tonight.
Taking time out until this is resolved.

  • Just gonna try to catch up from last night.
I've had a bad lot of hrs.
Ended up in A&E by ambulance last night, couldn't breathe and had chest pains then fainted. Have spent most of today sleeping as I got home in time to take DS to school so done that before resting and sleeping.
Aparently my heart's ok, but they couldn't find anything serious wrong. Just have severe reflux thank goodness but felt a bit guilty for wasting their time.
Being lifted and laid is doing my head in, I just want to get on with things but know it's best just to watch what I'm doing.
Hope you are feeling better soon, better safe than sorry and put your mind at rest, My OH rang beldoc for me last week as I had spent 6hrs on new yrs day in the mater and still hadnt got seen so had to go home as was in to much pain to sit on those hard plastic chairs then when he rang beldoc and explained that it was to painful for me to sit on the chairs as I couldnt even sit up at home they said they would ring an ambulance for me then rang back to say there was a 5hr backlog on ambulance and would be better to go in the morning went again last wednesday and spent 6hrs again they still not sure what it is and I am doped to the nines at the minute and unable to do to much without being in agony again but it really is worth going to the hospital just to be on the safe side xx
    sorry for going on xx

They are in the newborn starter kits. If you look on some of the packs it has a list of what is inside and some contain coupons. :)
