Hi guys and gals, semi-lurker here!

Just a heads up that in T£lf0rd (Wr£k1n Retail Pk) Ts they were putting out a load of the How Cool is This sale range upstairs in the entertainment section. No telescopes (got the impression they had been nabbed by staff!) but a few £1 bits - drumsticks, lava lamps etc plus a few bits a bit dearer, like giant PC mouse, but still good discounts.

Also tried to get one of the Owl grobags through but coming up as 'not on file.'

Couldn't find any Lindt or Cadbury eggs but looks like that glitch has been fixed now anyway. Luckily managed 12 Lindt yesterday (at Mad£l£y), but did get majorly trouted on one attempt :cool:

An another note, the Boots vitamin glitch working perfectly at Wr£kin R£tail Pk and the one by Sainsbury's :T

Well, I guess its time to do something constructive. I normally keep my car nice and clean but its currently minging so I'm going to don my grubby blue jeans, grey super mario T-shirt, and scruffy old holey jumper and go wash my red car with a purple hoover! (vax...12 quid from T's lol)

what you should do in this situation is call for the store manager. Tell him that he is welcome to check with head office (as you will) to confirm its a discontinued and hence heavily discounted item and if confirmed expect it sold to you at the price ont he screen. Ask for him to deal with it personally as you don't want the item getting 'lost'.

It may not work but is your only hope really of getting the item at that price. Depends on the manager but chances are it'll be ok'd if its the only one and obviously old stock.

not sure if this is any help to u guys waiting for the boots sale but........

nipped into my local today and right there in front of the sa was a pile of 75% off labels no sale today but i reckon if they where out then maybe tomorow ???

not tesco related but rs mcolls have a sale on all xmas items i picked a fair few boxes of xmas cadbury fingers and xmas animals for 25p each lots of other bargains too

Im wondering if it will depend on how tesco 'remedy' the situation by..

1) removing the affected stock from the shelves (in which case some may get overlooked and we still have a chance if stuff if overlooked or put back out by mistake)

2) if previously 1p bar codes are consistantly scanning at full price (depending on if the amendment is done at store type level, or across the board)

Hi, I found some cadbury eggs, bar code end 1624 about an hour ago and was charged the correct price. That was in Sh0r3h4m, 3xtra. Don't know about the lindt.

French Knickers- know what you mean regarding the car, mines the same, to clean or not to clean...or go to T's ... I could always do both! Will see how the rest of the day pans out.
