  • ok I'm going to catch up on a few of todays posts :)

can i leave this question with you lovelys!:o :)

I so would love another baby and have been 'fighting it for the last couple of years.......is 42 too old!! :(:o

answers on a forum please!! :)

    I have a friend who is 46.

    She has 5 kids aged 22, 19, 7, 6 and 3 (the last 3 are adopted).

She is now 10 weeks pregnant. They are absolutely delighted, she is very well if a bit tired.

She is trying to convince me that it is a good idea for me to join her but there is no way I would have had another child even at 40 (I am now 50!!).

If you want another child and no-one is heavily against it, and you are healthy, go for it girl!

Ilovemykids - It is up to each person individually, some people feel too old at 30, some too young at 30 etc. the only 'real' things to consider are the risks of problems rise after age 35 and it can be more difficult to conceive HOWEVER the risks of problems these days are still pretty low, several friends of mine have had their first babies in their late 30s with no problems at all, and yours isn't your first so your body will be more prepared for a pregnancy.

I would say definitely go for it if it's something you want, don't let age be a barrier!

Well, the Boots 75% sale doesn't seem to be happening today. The page loads normally which it hasn't done in the past.

    good morning everyone :):):)

well no boots sale online :( does that definately mean its not happening instore? if so ill go back to bed for an hour :)

thanks for the above post comic-dust, looks like off to bed i go :)

In previous years the boots half price sale HASN'T sold out online though, if there's no stock they're not going to publicise a 75% sale online I wouldn't have thought....

Well I'm up anyway so I'm going to get washed and dressed and over to my local on the off-chance!

    What a read :T Phoebe & puuuuuuub€s & Boots & Pies

I HAVE to go to Shrewsbury today as I bought a Kipling bag last week & got it home & it's got a hole in the pocket :( so I will take a looksie in Boots - you never know ;)

Regarding Blue Badges. My father was paralysed from the waist down about 10 years ago. Unknown why, happened on holiday in France, but he can walk now but in a very clumsy slow way with a stick and not very far. He has no feeling in his legs & gets very angry about it as he was a very active man.
After nagging from us he did apply for a badge but was refused :(
On a good note my Mother has had to take over the driving & can now drive on complicated roads etc that previously she would never had done :)
