Anyone tried the Boots shots? Taste like flat Lilt to me but not unpleasant at all...£1.99 though? Took all of 2 seconds to drink it!

Good job it was cheap in an 0ld £l P4so kind of a way...;)

OH said they tasted ok. He's recovering from 'manflu' at the moment and he said that its def perked him up a bit. Regardless of taste, he's got another 5 to get thru. . . :D

Well it's better than asking a kindly roving reporter when they are out at T's tonight to look through the window of a random Boots they might pass;);):rotfl:

Mmmmmmm, best steak sandwich I've had in ages.

Mushrooms just cooked and no more.
    Onions half raw
Steak, 25 seconds each side in a hot pan.

Whenever I get asked how I would like my steak in a restaurant I reply with "cut it's head off, wipe it's ar se and throw it on a plate"

Love my steak rare, best steak I ever had though was horse steak in Belgium.

I like my steak cooked in other words well done. I could never eat it rare.

I think this is a new 1p item. Apologies if already posted
i didn't know it was 1p when i bought it so it was a nice surprise...for a change! but i'm afraid its not very exciting before anyone gets their hopes up.

No mini eggs for me either but there was a nice box of the iloom yellow balloons on the top shelf with my name on, crying out to be bought for 15p a bag. Took 4 packets but left the rest on the top shelf for fellow friends of Martin at L?$£field extra. hth

Just to add, mum isn't a bad mum (apart from the time she left me outside the shop in my pram, totally forgot about me and went across the road to do some shopping in Kwiksave. It wasn't until 20 minutes later she remembered about me) as it all happened in such a short space of time.
oh i can beat that, i left my new born son on the bus. i hadnt adjusted to being a mum, and was so tired, that i forgot he was mine. when i got off the bus the driver shouted, "ohhh love , you forgot something"

Just popped on for a quick "HI" to everyone.

Not sure what day it is to be honest. 2 DDs safely back to uni, along with cases of clean and ironed washing and bags of Old El Paso and jellies and custards. :D Totally shattered yesterday was no good to anyone. Lurked a bit and only tried couple expresses for the 1p choc didn't realise working extras too. :o I was chasing snow bites from Sainsbobs at 10 times the cost.

Ah well did get vits and shots from Boots and so looking forward to 75% off there. And Nikki I have done what you are contemplating, trying to look for signs night before. ;)
