Hey everyone
Been lurking for a while today, catching up and reading the Boots threads too!
I can barely walk today, I haven't had a joint so painful for a long time but my ankle is extremely swollen and sore. I sometimes forget there's something wrong with me and think the docs have made a mistake then something like this happens and I realise I was dreaming!
No eggs of either type at my local. No Expresses closebyArghhh if only I'd known yesterday, I am tempted to go again but after 70 miles yesterday I think it's not really MSE. Unfortunately it seems to go out the window with cheap chocolate! I could tie it in with some more Boots vitamins&shots glitching I guess but then I'll want to go for the 75% off tomorrow! Lol! Too many deals, too expensive fuel
Is anyone else like this?? The day I went into hospital I had been in T's earlier getting the meal deal dtd! Now I can barely walk and all I'm thinking is, should I/shouldn't I?! :rotfl::rotfl:It's particularly prevalent when it's chocolate or free!
Hope all's well :A'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

It was me who mentioned the pure wipes comparing but I was refering to back in DTD days.
I was replying to dcon_blue who said 'Funny how Mr T can't Price Check Huggies wipes @ £2.59 against Mr A £1.00 but can their Value Wipes @ 46(ish)p'.
Sorry for any confusionHandle every stressful situation like a dog.

Unless someone is going across the border but the euro exchange rate isnt good atm...there was a poster from the south a while back but havent heard from them in a while
Edit: Just saw HC let you know too x
Yup thankfully we're not in the Euro zone but that's a whole other argument for another thread. Thinking about it though, Dunnes Stores allow you to pay in Euros but only notes (as I found out when I had some spare holiday cash) so I wonder if they take coupons and ones in Euros as well? Probably a long shot and not worth the petrol to check.
But speaking of NI, has anyone over here ever seen the 'How cool ...' stuff everyone across the puddle is getting for £1? Just wondering if we're a week or two behind and might get it in which case, it may be an idea to shout out on here if you see the stuff.0 -
Hello. I'm on my phone, anything new since this morning please? I tried the red cabbage earlier & that did not work.0

No issue with DTD today. Rang the Call Centre (in Wales I presume), told her the situation. Took my number and rang me back within ten minutes. Told me DTD is waiting for me.
Went into store sometime later, Manager practically accused me of Fraud! Told me she was pretty sure I knew the price before I paid. 'Who wouldn't notice a £12 overcharge & why would you need 5 packs of toasta bags when they're re-usable.'
I was shocked at such an insinuation :P Told her I had a big family, and they like toast. She walked off sulking but I got my DTD!
Tried three stores, no Eggs0 -
HI everyone.
Just back from Te$co no eggs at all. I did get two of the finest 907g christmas puddings for £1:j
I also picked up a prestige metal turkey roasting tin rtc £1 so could be one to watch. I am using it to make a turkey, ham and mushroom pie for tea. My 11yr DS makes fab pastry from scratch:j

So I've done 3 expresses and found 100's of Lindt eggs, strips of 'em:T:T:T:T:TAll with flipping stickers over the B/C:mad::mad::mad: On a mission now tonight, I will not be defeated;)
Confused now, thought we were looking for ones WITH overstickers? Didn't someone say they'd been overstickered incorrectly? Can't keep up with all the different threads there are no T's now!
I found Lindt in both stores, but no overstickers and wrong barcode?
Also mini eggs had a different barcode and were £1.50 and bogof.0 -

I've paid in euro's ( notes ) in both asda and tesco - actually the spar too - but don't know about coupons???
As for the how cool stuff - we had loads of it in our store but no telescopes - tbh I hadn't noticed these items before xmas but once the telescopes were mentioned I went in and at the toy aisle there was 2 shelves devoted to this range - I bought a few cheapy bits for my dad's fathers day from the boys - silly thing really ! So we do have them over here too - just they are crap!
BTW today I got 3 of those snow globes for 27p - price marked on the sel ! Got loads of reduced crafts things for crimbo and raided sainsburys too - so good haul for the next 2 xmases :T:T:T
Not a mini egg in site tho ! Got the fly stickers but the bin odour eater wouldn't scan ! SA was great and was going oh 1p - bargain !lol0 -
My local express had some lindor eggs. I had them all, 10x1p=10p, however I found 11p on the floor so made a profit of 1p.:j0
