PIP Implants, Can I Claim Back On My Credit Card?

True they were putting me back together, but there is some vanity in it dont you think? If i was a stronger woman I maybe would have said im fine as I am, but unfortunatly I am not that strong and didnt feel " normal." And I guess that's how some of these ladies feel? I dont know, my circumstances were different, but in the way we are all the same. All boils down to what we see in the mirror...
not really something i can comment on
I tend to go by the dont knock it till you try it, where I can
If someone used thie money for a cosmetic op,it doesnt negate the same scenario as if it was a fancy, telly, car etc
I don't think the NHS should cover it(though obviously if health/life is in jeapordy it will have to)
however I don't see why the cosmetics industry should 'get away' with washing their hands of it.
same as would be the case iwth consumer items like TVs. if a compan chooses to sell them, then they take the hit on the supporting consumer law0

Yes I totally agree the NHS shouldnt have to pay for it. But I am a little suprised by the OPs clinic response
" The clinic I has the surgery at are saying that if my implants are proven to be ruptured they will replace free of charge, however, they are charging for routine removal and replacement if I want it"
They are charging for the removal and replacement!! I think they should remove them for nothing seeing as they put them in there and then put her back together for nothing!
So really they are not replacing them for free, not unless they plan on giving them to the OP still in the box and telling her to make her own arrangements!0

Personally I dislike fake tits as well, but it doesn't change the consumer and legal aspects of this. These women chose to have the surgery done and they had every right to do so. Their consumer rights should not be infringed by any party in the supply chain and they are entitled to redress, just like any other consumer.I've not read every post because it's not going to change my view.
There is nothing medical whatsoever in this matter. The word you are looking for is "cosmetic".0

Hmmm... I can see it now... "Have you been mis-sold [STRIKE]PPI[/STRIKE] no, wait... PIP... Implants? Call now..."Young At Heart and Ever The Optimist: "You can't sell ice to Eskimo."

In my view it has caught out a lot of "fikkle" women who should have accepted what nature gave them. If they happened to be given small ones by nature then so be it - for me it serves the women right.
My money is also one majority that have these implants probably also waste a fortune on make-up. The sorts of people that keep the likes of Boots in business.
I'm actually enjoying witnessing an own goal by these women who now wish they'd done nothing. Well done ladies. :T
Did your parents have any children that lived ?

your baby is hopefully not in any danger, but what you need to do asap is go to your doctor & ask them to put you forward for a scan to see whats going on, even if they are ruptured you cant do anything till the babys born but atleast you will know where you stand hope this helps x0

Excellent catch there. Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.” Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”0
