Can you blow the bits out maybe? (Shutting your eyes whilst doing so, just in case.) Use a straw?
They would bug me being left, can you tell?:D

I'm more worried about blowing - at least where they are i can see them - and to my untrained eye looks like they arent going to do anything nasty where they are. Who knows whats down the back of the oven if i blow them there!
Bit annoying really cos i've got a lovely chop defrosted for my dinner - but wont be able to grill it now.
Can people comment on whether they think its safe to use the main oven and the hob? I can't really see a reason why not, but in the interests of caution!
The grill is oven out of action until i get the new pane/door!0 -

I would use them. They are separate cavities with separate heat sources etc, one wont affect the other.Herman - MP for all!0 -
To get the glass fragments out, try getting some plastic tubing, the biggest size that will go through the gap (I have used car windscreen washer clear tubing before). You can then attach this piping to your vacuum nozzle with some appropriate tape (electrical tape, duck-tape etc.
Even if the fragments are too big to go up the pipe, you should at least be able to suck them on the end of the pipe and draw them out (or near enough to get hold of).
Good luck.
