I wonder if anyone can help me.
I am using Outlook 2003.
Everything has been fine until today, and now I can neither send or receive any emails.
My ISP is Prodigy Net.
I have four different email accounts set up under Outlook.
When I try and send I get the following message:
Task 'xxx Sending' reported error (0x8000CCC78): Unable to send the message. Please verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 452.4.4.5. Insufficient disk space; try again later.
I have checked my settings in the email accounts settings under the Tools tab in outlook, and everything appears as before.
When I try and receive I get the following:
Task 'xxx Receiving error (0x800CCC90) Your incoming (POP3) email server has reported an error. If you continue to receive this message contact your ISP. The server responded - ERRAVG POP3 proxy server cannot connect to the mail server.
Anyone with any ideas what's happened/changed to cause this to occur?
Many thanks:beer:

It sounds like you have AVG set up as a pop proxy to scan mail , which is fine , but it also sounds like that's not working at its best.
go into your AVG settings and temporarily disable the mail scanner.0 -

The first error message indicates a problem with your ISP's mail server. Nothing you can do about that, apart from checking their status page if they have one or reporting the problem to them via Hotmail etc.
If they have web mail, see if that works.0 -
Thanks to the above posts.
The hosting company had been changing servers apparently. All email had been delayed to prevent loss. Doesn't seem totally right to me, but it's all back working.:beer:Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.
