We have an old avant laptop, roughly around 5 years old. Are there any sites that buy laptops for cash? Like they do with mobiles? we are trying to de clutter the house and if we can make a few pennies it's a bonus
Thanks in advance for any help.

Old laptops can do well on eBay, and generally avoid the scammers (who are after the new ones!).
Check amazon as well for the model number, some are on there.0 -

Anyone looking to sell their old laptop will get five times more by selling it privately rather than via a specialist hardware trade-in website, an investigation by Which? Computing has found0 -
The above post says it all. Sell private, gumtree, word of mouth, ect. Avoid these rip off merchants at all costs. The same goes with cars, a friend phoned "we buy any car" and was offered £50, his son sold it via eBay and received £480 after expenses. The above post is the best advice.0
