Best place to book Tel-Aviv trip?

I'm not sure where to look for the best deals for Tel-Aviv since it's not one of the common UK holiday hot spots.
I know Ryanair don't fly there but do any other budget airlines?
I had a look on Expedia and found deals from around £600 for a week (SC & Flights) anybody know where I could get this cheaper? (Typically I've found Expedia to be a lot more expensive)

I hate to recommend Sleazyjet, but it will get you there. Tel Aviv is a wonderful place, enjoy!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I went with Easy Jet last year. No problems with the 5 hour flight (take your own food and entertainment) and if you book early you can get some reasonable fares (£80 + e.w. IIRC).
Tel Aviv was brill-as was Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Petra in Jordan0 -

Thanks, yes, I've seen some stuff, For example there's a P&O Cruise route that visits Tripoli that won't let anyone with an Israeli stamp in their passports even sail in their waters, let alone get off the ship!
I think EasyJet will be my best bet for flights, they can't be any worse than RyanAir right?
I don't have any set dates, even a month yet, I'm very flexible so I'll just look around for accommodation.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Not sure where in the UK you are located but Luton airport can be expensive to get to. National Express have some fantastic fares for transport to UK airports at the minute, i.e. £8 ish one way from Birmingham to London Luton. Take a look on their website.0

Thanks, I'd probably just get a lift but this would be great as a back-up plan!
I'm located between Birmingham & East Midlands airports, both about 30 mins away.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Are you just planning on visiting Tel Aviv?. You could also take the train to Jerusalem and do both cities.
If I was to visit Israel then I would I'ld skip Tel Aviv altogether and spend most of my time exploring Jerusalem. Accomodation seems much cheaper in Jerusalem compared to Tel Aviv.
There's even a free walking tour in Jerusalem (see http://www.newjerusalemtours.com/) - plus more walking tours for as little as €15.
From my research Israel seems very expensive so you may want to do a bit more research. I recommend the DK Eyewitness travel guide for £9 on amazon - its a great read with lots of pictures.0
