Hi, I want a free program to use to keep my music on. i tunes always seems to load with an error, makes the download slow and messes with my DVD driver. I need something that's compatible with an ipod

Winamp. By far the best music player I have ever used.

If apple stopped the auto update itunes thing which is extremely annoying as it slows down boot time, then itunes would be a very solid player

how does it mess with your dvd player ? ive used itunes albeit only briefly and the dvd drive is still fine

I've been told Mytunes is a good program but haven't used it myself.

My registry settings seem to go and this affects the operation of the driver.

I think you have more fundamental problems with your PC than iTunes!

There are countless users not having problems. Are you sure you don't have some sort of trojan, malware or virus on your machine that's messing with your registry?
