I got some really good advice on here last week about going on a walking holiday on my own, and there were some really good links given by people on here for adventure and walking hols. The thread shouldn't be too far back! Have fun - I was v anxious but now looking forward to it!0

Hi everyone
Thank you to all of you for your suggestions:A. I have spent most of the day looking at everything form organising things myself, through to Solo holiday companies..... to be honest now my brain hurts lol
One of my dearest friends booked through a solo holiday company and had the time of her life on a few holidays and made friends for life.
One thing I have realised is that I am not as outgoing as she is, and I am quite self conscious at the moment (size issues etc:o) but I am determined to book something.
I know I need to do this for me and me alone not worry what other people think but I am also watching the pennies.
I didnt want you to all think I was just reading your replies and running and will keep everything in mind as I continue my search.
Will let you know what I finally book.
One good thing I have finally got round to checking if my passport was in date and it is until 2017:j (for some reason I had it in my head it ran out this year lol)
Thanks again

I wouldn't worry about that, I thought I had 'size issues' until I got to the pool LOL!The first place you'll find is a sleaze-pit called Bartertown. Now if the earth doesn't swallow you up first, that place sure as hell will!0 -
Have a look at this as well, yes your head will hurt but its great fun planning!
