Any Radley experts on here?

Hi

Hoping there may be a Radley 'expert' on here who can tell genuine from fake? I bought a Radley purse from ebay and strongly believe it to be counterfeit but being new to Radley I thought I would see if anyone on here knows a fair bit about them. Thanks

Have you got a link to the Radley purse you bought? I bought my DD this one from John Lewis for Christmas , if it was the same, I could have a close look for you.
Curious, what makes you suspect it is a fake..anything specific or just the overall look/feel?

I would put the link but they used a stock photo rather than a pic of the actual item so wouldn't be much point. Nope not the same as that one, it's from the border stitch collection.

Did a fair bit of googling about spotting fake ones and the stitching doesn't look well finished, it never came with a dust bag or leather cleaner (the seller says they don't anymore - did your daughters one come with this?) the metal dog looks different to the ones on the radley website and the price tag which came with it is apparantly supposed to be white, which it isn't.

Can you put up a photo of the purse?

Was it a handbag or a purse by the way?

The purses never come with leather cleaner, mine did have dust covers.
Handbags my earlier one from mid 00s did not have leather cleaner but later one did.

I am by no means an expert but if you go to the Debenhams website, it's on there for that price pre-sale, and the price tag looks like a Debenhams one if that helps?

Excellent, thanks that is a great help! That is the first website I've seen with a pink one for sale, was starting to doubt that pink was a colour they made.

is the Silver dog on the purse flat or has detail on it?

My daughter's didn't have leather cleaner with it, it did have lots of pieces of card stiffener and I think tissue, inside the wallet part and around the outside, then just in a plastic bag, I think. DD is out atm, will have a look at hers for comparison anyway later.

The one you've got does look quite convincing to me at first glance!

Hi,

I was told by a Radley Sales Assistant that they have stopped producing the storage bags. However saying that, I brought a Radley purse from the Debenhams website as a Christmas present and it arrived with a storage bag...

Also the last couple of Radley items I've brought have never come with a leather cleaner.

Any Radley experts on here?
