Addicted to saving accounts?

As it's been mentioned, savings can be addictive, just don't forget to enjoy yourself. Another thing mentioned, when I started saving properly for the first time, like you I opened multiple savings accounts for different things, this allowed me to easily keep track of what I was saving for and my progress. It took me precisely one year to realise that this, as a saver, was in no way, something for the long run. If you're serious about saving it won't take you long to realise that you're far better off consolidating your savings as much as possible rather than spreading them out based on what you're saving for.
Don't get me wrong, when you're starting out, I would definately recommend the way you're doing it, it's a learning process within itself and helps you appreciate and understand savings in general. When I started saving I probably had 20+ accounts after 6 months for different things, while I felt I was thoroughly organized and pleased with myself, and I was, I knew it could always be done better, which is where it can become addictive I guess, there's always someway you can do savings better. The only reason I have multiple accounts these days is because they're maxed (:0
