Your service plan should include a brake fluid change at the next service. If you look at the VW fixed price service menu they quote £59 for the brake fluid change on its own."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

unfortunately not its a vw
its highly likely you wont be able to do a brake bleed without dealer level tools vw's have enough problems on their abs systems without a novice hacking away
maybe next time dont go vw is my advice they might clunk with a nice thud when you shut the door because they have plenty of acoustic rubbish in the door frames but they are still a eurobox under the shine;)

They've also bigged themselves up in the reliability stakes ever since the '80s. The reality is completely different, they don't feature well in the reliability charts.0
