Want to fit a swivel aerator to my kitchen tap

Want to get one that saves water as well if possible are the ones on ebay OK? I like the idea of fitting them to the bathroom taps but I can't see how to get the old one out, they fit flush with the end of the taps, is there a trick to getting them out?

  • Hi hardpressed, fitted one to my kitchen sink very easy just unscrew the one on the tap and screw in the new one.Got mine from Lakeland (cookery shop) for a few pounds ,the pressure was to much on the old tap it was splashing every where much better with the swivel one :)

wow do you really want one of those on your tap it's not very pretty, most bathroom taps don't have an internal thread to screw anything into, maybe try fitting some service (ballofix) valves into the supply pipes so you can turn the flow rate down.

its for the kitchen not the bathroom. i dont really care how it looks, im just fed up of not being about to use the hot tap coz it sprays everywhere.

i know it's your kitchen tap but as you asked the question on someone elses post i was answering their question as well, maybe try some lime scale remover up the spout as this may solve your prob
