Hi there,
Does anyone have the address which I need to write to for Halifax to get copies of statements with bank charges on them? I unfortunately do not have my bank account details, will they still be able to send me them?
Thank you - just worth a try I think to try again for charges refunded!

Just give details of dates and all addresses you lived at whilst account/s operational.
Don't ask for statements specifically, just all data held about you including all charges etc. Usually £10 for the lot. Statements alone could cost a bomb!
You will need a strong case of hardship to use as the basis of your claim.0 -
The account has been closed for quite a while now - I cannot quite remember the reason for denial in the past, however I now think I can prove hardship. I will have a look on their website!
Thank you for your reply

Actually, you don't need to send the £10 with your initial request, it just speeds things up a bit.
Regarding financial situation, you need to have been in severe financial hardship during the 'extraction' of charges period as well as now.0
