Entitlement to JSA

You should talk to the existing employer, and ask if there are any adaptions that may help you - altered patterns of working, for example.
Not doing this, and just resigning as you can't cope may be sanctioned, though the existing illness is a reason why it may not, not talking to the employer is a risk.0 -
You may be eligible for JSa on the grounds that Employment on trial applies to this current job. See link for details and if you leave nad make a claim to JSA make sure you mention this rule.

Employment on Trial
Normally if you leave a job voluntarily, without good cause, you lose entitlement to benefit. Employment on Trial allows you to leave a job and claim Jobseekers Allowance without the reason for leaving affecting your entitlement to benefit.
You must:- have been in the job for at least four weeks and one day - but for no more than 12 weeks
- have worked for more than 16 hours in each complete week
To find out more about Employment on Trial, please contact your local Jobcentre Plus office."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
