Joint Acc issue

i have received an offer for my ppi claim but its complicated by the facts that the acc in qustion was a joint one with an ex partner. She didnt financially contribute to the loan, but was named from day 1 until the loan was repaid. In my offer it mentions that the offer will be split 50/50 between both parties - is this correct if i was the one who made all financial contributions???

I'm no expert but its seems a simple fact of life to me, two signatures = two claimants. It looks like your going to have to contact the ex, and possibly negotiate a fee for your contributions and ground work in getting a successful claim0 -
thanks for the reply - i'll contact the bank in the first instance to see whether there's a point to be made in terms of who made all the financial contritions but yes point taken i suppose if things worked in reverse and i was unable to make the payments, the ex would be held jointly liable.. give and take0
