Leaking Door

Hi All,

I have had a few problems with water leaking through my front door since moving into my new build just over a year ago, the house builder has been out on several occasions to try and fix the problem.

I came home the other night and water leaked under the door seal at the bottom of the door and with the recent weather has leaked around 1 yard down the hallway and ruined the cream carpet I have down.

I know the house builder is responsible for fixing the issue with the door but are they are responsible for replacing my damaged carpet?

If it's a upvc door it might be worth putting on of these on - I know it's not getting them to solve the problem and won't cure it completely but would prevent some of the issue.
