switching from prepayment - is it worth it?

I wouldn't pay to do it but British Gas will change them for free if you pass a credit check and then it's well worth it if you then change to a cheaper tariff.0

Ring your utility comapny and ask what they offer, they usually have a cheaper tarrif of this sort of thing as well as a a DD discount.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
It's likely to be cheaper yes as DDI tarrifs tend to be discounted on Pre payment / standard tarrifs.
Shop around if your supplier wont swap it for free - some will0 -
PPM's cost the same as Standard tariff. A credit meter will allow you access to online discount and fixed tariffs, which will be cheaper.
But not recommended if you are not good at managing your billing. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
