Been with Talk talk for several years now.
We have the full package of unlimited 24x7 calls and braodband.
A sales chap from TT has been calling us several times to renew our contract. The best he can offer us i s
half price rental for 3mths
international call boost for 12mths
for 12mth contract.
if we renew over the phone he can offer no discount for annual payment in advance.
is this a good offer or has anyone else done better with TT?

Don't believe this mis-selling. You are NOT renewing your contract, but entering a fresh lock-in period. (Doesn't sound so good now, does it?)
If you do nothing, you don't lose service and you still get the features you previously agreed and at the same price (unless you've been told otherwise).
Best yet, when something better comes along, you can leave with 30 days notice, which you might find very useful down the line.0 -

Yes aware if we agree its a new lick in period. Weve had some earlier probs with TT but to be honest guess will just stick with them for another yera. We cant switch to sky because of something to do we being bundled at the exchange.

You can switch to Sky, but if you are on a TT LLU line then you will have to take your line rental back to BT first on a 12m return to donor.
You can't go direct LLU to LLU (assuming that Sky is available LLU on your exchange-you don't want Sky Connect instead). No free lunch, and no free laptop
