Why is my boiler dripping water?

I've got an Alpha CB24 combi boiler and over the past couple of days it's been dripping water. Not constantly but since last night the tin I have placed underneath it has collected about 25ml of water.
The heating is coming on at the correct times and there's plenty of hot water.
Thanks

Is it dirty water?
If so, it is probably from the central heating system. Has the CH lost pressure?
It's quite common for a seal to deteriorate and drip water within the boiler itself.0 -
Thanks Tucker.
I don't think it's dirty water. It's an old baking tin I've got underneath it so not sure if any dirt is coming from that. I've just dipped a corner of kitchen paper in it and it looks quite clean.
The pressure seems to be OK. CH is off now and the needle is slap bang in the middle of the green part of the gauge. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Frankly it doesn't matter what colour the water is. You have a leak within the boiler and it needs attending to. This is not a DIY job thats directable remotely. Get someone in.

Yes needs sorting, but worth knowing if it's the central heating in case OP can re-pressurise before the boiler locks out, if they can't get someone out to it pronto.0

Take the cover off the boiler and see if you can ID the source of the leak with a purely visual inspection-don't start dismantling it yourself. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
