Income threshold 2012

Hi I was looking on the tax credits page and it says that the £40000 threshold has been with drawn! Wat does that mean? As my husband has started a really good job and our joint income will take us over!!

It means if you'd have only been entitled to the family element (ie £545 a year) you probably won't get it.

In some circumstances you can get tax credits on over £40,000 (large family 4+ kids, or high childcare, or disabilities etc)
