The first link in post 3 is one way, then there are others you can view from there, most prise the cap off with a flat head screwdriver.

There is one which uses a syringe by removing the plunger, inserting it in to the bottle, filling it then squeezing the bottle to get the liquid in to it.

    SANTER 1, DETTOL 0 :T

:D They must have spent a lot of time/money designing a system that would not allow refills (defeat the whole purpose of making money through overpriced handwash...)

The way I refill the bottle is to run put the cap under some hot water and then push the handle of a teaspoon up the side and gently push the cap.....top pops off quite easily then.

Refilled many times and they are all still working happily together :)
Thanks to advice from people here I am debt free - thank you to you all! Now working on the mortgage!

Yep, that's what I do as well, aprt from the hot water thing. i just pop it open with teaspoon and replace the antibacterial handwash with whatever has my fancy- currently the Radox 500ml refills on offer @ Tesco's for 95p. 1 Radox refill fills 2 of the sanitisers. Both bathrooms sorted for 95p.
