browsing MSE I forgot I had a lovely Lemon meringue pie in the oven -- it's now completely burnt

I'm very annoyed and refuse to take responsibility for my own actions!!
Maybe I can demand MSE reimburse me?

You could scrape the top off and serve it with double cream? - send Martin a bill for the additional 59pValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

The tops been removed and edges which are black
Leaving just the lower outer pastry bit and the lemon. I'll probably have to adjust the bill to account for the fact i'm eating half of it though. Then add the 59p to that.
Also trying to work out what I can claim in terms of emotional distress they have caused. Wil have to see how long it takes to recover first though.0 -
Mmm the lemon bit is my fave! Have it with some ice cream - afterall you've saved on eating all that sugar :-)
Damn I really fancy some lemon meringue pie now.........0 -
It was lovely, i'll give it that. Still very disappointed though! It was the Aunte Bessies (?) 'perfect for 2' (well 1) £1 one from Morrisons. With 3 dollops of white vanilla ice cream we had left over.
I may let you off the hook MSE!0 -

Arcon - I fancy lemon meringue pie now, but the shop is closed, and I'm now distressed.
Do I need to sue you for putting the idea into my head in the first place, or Waitrose for being closed at 10:16 at night? Or do you reckon I can do both? I'm thinking around £10,000 and taking it from there.Competition wins: Where's Wally Goody Bag, Club badge branded football, Nivea for Men Goody Bag0 -

Can't believe no one has mentioned the children!
What if a child had been singed, or had been waiting for some lovely pudding... it's a tragedy. There must be something that can be done0
