Avoid overpaying for car servicing/MOTs

Tom,i think this is a really good idea and should benefit the not so experienced .motorists on the forum,who need advice,or anyone who is not happy with their present garage.hope the mods leave it alone as it is a money saver,not a money maker.

On a personal note i would like to see a list of good garages,people have been happy with,rather than a load of complaints,which often come up on here but when studied do not seem to be all the garages fault but often a punter with too high an expectation of the treatment and prices he should receive.

If however certain garages are giving a bad service,verified by several customers,this is also invaluable.Good luck with it,i hope you can attract opinions from loads of areas.I will tell my friends and family who do not come on here and try to spread the word a bit!

I'll be very grateful if you can pass on the address to friends and so on - the more reviews, the more useful the site will become!

As previously mentioned, the site is intended to operate in a positive way - e.g. "find good garages in your area", not "here are garages to avoid". Evidently it works in both respects, but I'd rather keep a positive slant as I'm sure most garages are trustworthy and reliable.
