PPI claim on very old storecard now with Santander

Hi everyone

Sorry if this is a repeat question but I am new to the site.

I have a very old store card which I orginally took out 25 years ago in a Richards Store (it was a Richards card), this then was taken over by BHS, then GE Captial and now Santander. ( please don't lecture me on the length of time etc :( I only ever had £240 max credit !!)

My question is - can I reclaim the ppi that I have paid over the years??

I know that I should have gotten rid of this ages ago but it came in handy when the kids were young and cash was short !

Many thanks

Maxhemb

User "maxhemb" made one post five years ago and never logged onto the forum again. I doubt you'll receive a response.

So many years after the sale, even if they consider it (if it was pre-2005 they don't have to) it's highly unlikely any records will still exist to prove you paid anything

I think you mean "trawled" the internet, not trolled ;)

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
