Foreign object in windscreen vent....

Just a quick question - my son has just put something in the windscreen vent on my peugeot 206. It's like one of those glass things you do flower arranging with, but a bit bigger. Is there an easy way to get it out? (I'm hoping it doesn't need the dash out).

More to the point, where would it end up if I did nothing?

Thanks in advance...

My first thought is to try one of those flexible screw/bolt/nut and hopefully also glass flower arringing thing retrievers. If you have to buy one, it's still a potentially useful tool to have in the tool kit.

My second thought is to make DS try to do it. Make the punishment for the crime, as they say. However, he does seem to have an enquiring mind. :)

Thanks! I think we've got one of those somewhere - I'll give it a try. Have been driving around and can't hear any rattling, so I'm living in denial

Tried asking DS to fish it out - he was too distraught at losing his precious thing to help (he's 2 so I'll let him off!).
