Thomas Cook E Tickets Please Help

Hi guys please could someone help me last week I booked my in laws holiday for them I finally have managed to persuade them that package holidays are expensive and saved them £300 by booking flight and accommodation seperately.

However looks like disaster has struck and husband printed e tickets which have FIL full details but only MIL as mrs Kathleen C not full name now I know I am not stupid and would have put in her full details as am very thorough. Husband phoned thomas cook who say I have to pay £40 for change of name. Can anyone who has booked a thomas cook flight check there e tickets for me and see if this has happened to them. The system declined my card and had to go back into it again and wondered if this is when this happened.

At the moment feel very frustrated as wish I hadn't bothered trying to save them money now!

BTW £300 less £40, you are still saving £260.

Does one letter count as a last name, their computer should not allow that.

I appreciate that they are still saving £260 but when I have already given them the price I feel awful telling them they now have to pay another £40.

Tried to go into the thomas cook website to double check and doesn't show all the details before putting c c details in so can't tell if it would happen again as don't want to book more flights!

Most scheduled airlines allow corrections of simple errors within 24 hours.

Thanks Richard but no good as our printer was broken so was booked last week
