Ski with short transfer time

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows a good ski resort for beginners with short transfer time from airport. By short, I mean within 100-120km and preferably transfer using public transport rather than using the expensive taxi/transfer shuttle.

I know of one option in Valberg. Fly into Nice and then jump on a public bus (Eur 3 or 4) to valberg. hotels in valberg are within walking distance to the lift/slopes.

One other option I was looking at was Pila (Italy). But I cannot find if it has public buses from Milan airport.

I want something similar. Flying in from London.

Sierra Nevada. Plane lands at Granada and it's a 30 minute transfer time.

You can ski in the morning and spend the afternoon on the beach

What about the Eurostar ski train?

thanks, will look into the eurostar option. Also, does anyone know a bit more about Pila ? How to transfer from Milan airport ?

You can get a train to Aosta, not sure after that
