Boiler Pressure

Hi,
Got a few problems with my boiler....
The boiler is an Ariston Microgenus 23 (8/9 years old) and since I bought my house about 15 months ago, the reset warning light would show (usually when I put the mixer hot tap on in the bath and just get cold water), and it was a case of just pressing reset and all was fine.
Had another problem with the boiler for a few weeks now, where the pressure keeps dropping to 0. I've tried to narrow it down and pumped the expansion vessel (no leaks from the valve), and from what I've found is that the pressure drops to 0 during/after the radiators are on. Also the outside pipe from the boiler is leaking a fair bit, theres a very slight leak from the boiler pump (slightly dripping out of the bottom of the boiler where the pump is mounted).
I've been re-pressurising the boiler every day for the past few weeks and with the amount that I've re-pressurised I don't think theres a leak in the pipework itself, or we would have noticed it by now.
The radiators and hot water all work fine, even at 0 bar (I've got a little boy and the heating comes on twice in the night, so after the first lot of heating, the pressure is at 0, but it all still works fine when it comes on the second time). The bath mixer hot tap can be freezing at times, but a re-pressure sorts that out.
Anyway, just wondering if any experts have got any ideas what could be wrong with the boiler. Pressure relief valve and pump knackered?!
The reset light coming on originally with the water going cold, I'm not too sure about either!
Cheers!

Pressure valve display inaccurate? You mentioned leaks. Get a local gas engineer. Where are you in the UK?0

Hi, Don't think the display is inaccurate as when the pressure is 0, the hot water is cold (well on the bath mixer hot tap).
My mate is a gas engineer but hes out of the country for 2 weeks, so thought I'd see if anyone on here would know what it could be!0 -
Also, today at 7am I turned the boiler off with the pressure at 1 bar, and have just got home from work and the pressure is now 0 bar even though the boiler is off!0

You've already answered your own question! Pressure relief valve knackered.Perfection takes time: don't expect miracles in a day0
