I only cut them out if they irriatate me, especially at the back of the neck. Would never think about anyone looking to see size or make.

'm afraid I cut out most of the neck ones as they all seem to cause irritation, but not from anywhere else.0

I've never cut a label out I don't think. That seems like a very, very strange thing to do.Grocery challenge September 2022: £230.04/£200

Checking the sizes on the labels is a big help to DH when sorting out dry washing into relevant piles. With some of DD14 and DD11 clothes there's no much different in size.0

I sometimes cut labels out when its a sheer top or a white or light coloured top with a big black label which is visible from the other side - don't know why manufacturers do that!
I cut them out if they are scratchy, but if I was planning on ebaying the item I have been known to tack a piece of soft material over the top of the label which could be removed without damaging it.
I have cut the size label off if its too visible - near to the hanging hook on a coat for example
If I take my cardy off at work and out it on the back of the chair I make sure the size label is not showing. Very sad I know, like someone has said, it's fairly easy to guess what size I am, but no need to make it easy for people!0 -
An ex-colleague who was a slimming class leader told me that some women cut off the clothing labels because they've pretended to others that they wear clothes which are smaller than they actually are.
Other women just feel better about themselves if they don't see a 'larger' size label.0 -

I often end up cutting the labels out of DD's tops as she complains that they scratch her - but then when I come to ebay them I struggle to work out what size they were!weaving through the chaos...0 -
I do cut out labels although I would if they irritated me. It's really annoying in Charity Shops when the label has been cut out.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I also cut labels out of clothes not to hide anything it's just that they irritate me so much. I have to unpick the label which is quite difficult to do with out cutting the garment. I wish they they could find a different way of labelling clothes.0

yep but only out of my knickers.
Have no idea why I do this as no one ever sees them, well only other half
Just hate seeing my size emblazoned on them.0
